Trip Number 1...

We have just come home from a lovely trip to Palm Desert, CA. We spent a week with Brian's Dad, Step mom and Her Father.

One of our favorite things to look for when we arrive in Southern California are the Palm trees. When we see them we know we are there.

This is the beautiful sunset on the first night we were there.

We all went out to a very nice dinner on Tuesday night to celebrate my upcoming Birthday. We ate at Morton's. They had a special menu for us with my name at the top.

We recently added a Wii to our home and could not leave it there so we brought it with us. This is the proof that Grandpa Ed enjoyed the bowling game.

Brian and his dad played the boxing game. It is too funny to watch the faces everyone makes while they play these games.

Judy and I decided to show the boys how to play the boxing game.

We had a wonderful time visiting and are so grateful to have the time to spend with family. We both had busy weeks leading up to this trip and we were so grateful to get the much needed rest and break that we got.

We were able to see Iron Man and Baby Mama. We love movies and Brian and his dad decided to see Iron Man again. I was able to shop my little feet off with Judy. We ate well. Better than we should have. (Good bye weight loss) We squeezed in an evening at the pool. We had a fun time with cars that ended in watching a SUV run over a curb and proceed forward till they broke a water pipe, then backed up and left. All five of us watched as they drove away. Brian decided to make sure that the individual reported that they had been the cause of the water over flowing in the parking lot. We went into the office and sure enough they had no idea who had done the damage. We gave all the info we knew and felt a little better about our selves. The last thing we got to do made me VERY happy. I got a pedicure, and get this... Brian got a facial. He loved it!
